    Avantay takes the stress out of buying and selling cars. Think of me as the car-savvy friend you wish you had—I research, negotiate, and handle all the details so you don’t have to deal with pushy salespeople, confusing listings, or lowball trade-in offers.
  • Are you affiliated with any dealerships?
    Nope! I work 100% independently to make sure you get the best deal possible. Since I’m not tied to any dealership, my only priority is saving you money and making the process stress-free.
  • How much does it cost to use Avantay?
    Avantay operates on a flat-fee model, so you always know what you’re paying—no hidden fees, no surprises: $500 for buying or selling a car. $800 if you need help buying a car and selling or trading in your current one. Unlike other services, I don’t take a percentage of what I save you or add fees based on the car’s price. The flat fee is all you pay, no matter how much I negotiate off the final deal.
  • What is your refund policy?
    You can request a full refund within 48 hours of payment, as I likely haven’t started researching yet. However, once I’ve begun the search and negotiation process, there are no refunds—even if you decide not to move forward with a purchase. If your bank rejects your financing application, that’s beyond my control, and the fee remains non-refundable. Ultimately, you always have the final say, but once the work is done, the fee is locked in.
  • How do I get started?

  • How do I know I’m getting a good deal?
    Dealerships add hidden fees and inflate prices just because they can. I break down everything so you know exactly what you’re paying for and ensure you never overpay.
  • What if I change my mind after we start?
    No problem! We will issue a full refund within 48 hours of payment. But since my fee covers time spent researching, negotiating, and handling your deal, payments are non-refundable after 48 hours.
  • Can you help me find a car with specific features?
    Yes! Whether you need a specific model, certain features, or the best fuel economy, I tailor my search to match exactly what you want.
  • What if I need help after I buy my car?
    Even after you’ve signed the papers, I’m happy to answer questions about warranties, service plans, or anything else you need. I want you to feel good about your purchase long after you drive away!
  • I’m not in your city—how can I still use your service?
    No problem! With how easy it is to shop online these days, buying a car remotely is just as simple. I search province-wide to find the best deals and can handle everything online, over the phone, or through text—from researching listings in your area to managing negotiations with dealerships. If the best deal is out of town, I’ll help arrange shipping or delivery or set up a local test drive for the same model so you can buy with confidence.
  • Can you negotiate financing or interest rates for me?
    Financing rates are based on your credit score and financial situation, so I can’t adjust them. However, I factor in whether you’re financing, leasing, or paying in cash when negotiating with the dealership to get you the best overall price and perks.
  • How do you negotiate on my behalf?
    I take over all dealership negotiations to lock in the lowest price, eliminate hidden fees, and maximize value. I also push for extra perks—think free oil changes, all-weather mats, or discounts on future services.
  • Where do you source the cars from?
    I only help you buy vehicles from licensed dealerships—no private sales. Buying from private sellers comes with too many unknowns and risks, whereas dealerships offer more transparency, legal protections, and often warranties to ensure a safer purchase.
  • If I'm selling my car, do I have to meet with buyers?
    Only at the final step. I handle all the legwork—pricing, listing, inquiries, and negotiation—so you don’t have to waste time dealing with tire kickers. You’ll only need to meet the buyer when it’s time to finalize the deal and sign over ownership.
  • Should I sell my car privately or trade it in?
    That depends! Selling privately usually gets you more money, while trading in is more convenient but often means a lower offer. I’ll help you compare both options so you can make the best decision.
